Last year Kentucky's Governor Andy Beshear took a historic step by signing Senate Bill 47 into law, paving the way for the legalization of medical cannabis in the commonwealth effective on January 1, 2025. Expediting the process, Gov. Beshear recently fast-tracked the implementation of the medical program in early April, signaling the emergence of promising opportunities in the coming months.
